I provide a custom portrait experience for all of my clients. Over time, I have learned what truly matters in life, and to me, I have found that it’s the people in my life and the relationships I have that I care about the most.

Photographs are a large part of all major life events – birth, childhood sports and concerts, weddings, and the preparation of placing a loved one to rest.

This is because we value memories and looking back on the people we love, the special times we had, and the moments we’ll never have again.

We value photography. It may not be the first thing you think of when you think of what things you invest in, but regardless – I can assure you that you value it.

We frequently spend money on things that are only temporary, such as hair coloring/products, good food, quality furniture, etc.

But what is the longevity of these items?

Likely not long – or not as long as the photographs we cherish. I mean, truly – photographs are eternal.

Of course, we need to ensure we protect them by printing them on good quality paper, storing them safely, etc. But photographs outlast most other items.

It is a common misconception to believe that we simply need digital files of our favorite moments. Although this could work, it is a little more complicated than most people realize. With digital files alone, you are responsible for backing up your files on every new device, ensuring your gallery does not expire, transferring files to new devices, uploading files to new cloud-based galleries, etc.

Most people don’t really think this far ahead! And when it comes time to printing these photos, even if we invest in a talented photographer, some people will have their photos printed through online photo labs that don’t incorporate quality printing and paper.

Truth be told, if you want your photos printed on the best quality paper that is acid free and will stand the test of time, you usually need to go through a professional photographer.
